EVOLUTIONARY RENAISSANCE ASSEMBLY:
THE DREAM OF THE EARTH

ONLINE FUTURE FORUM
In the Evolutionary Renaissance Assembly forum, we aim to catalyse a conversation about a new long-term dream for humanity - and making it real. What can heal our civilisational wounds, inspire co creation of the future, and lead to universal flourishing? Can the evolutionary transition of humankind be guided, and how can this guidance engage all of us? What needs to change in models of education, governance, economy, and culture so that this dream of ‘thriveable’ futures can be fulfilled? What is our dream of the Earth, and what does the Earth dream for us?

The main organiser of the forum is Global Education Futures, a global think-do-tank that researches and prototypes the future of skills and learning for educational organisations, governments, and business. For over 10 years, our strategic foresights, methodological frameworks, and breakthrough experiments served large-scale national and global initiatives in education. To create this forum, our team partners with international communities of thought and action leaders including Learning Planet Institute, World Academy of Art & Science, and many others.

Our most recent initiative is the launch of The University for the Planet, a global platform that helps develop leadership skills and produce solutions for some of the most challenging planetary problems.

Another initiative is an open call for co-creation of the Evolutionary Development Goals, a comprehensive system of global objectives guiding humanity towards an evolutionary transition, capable of fostering a prosperous and sustainable future.

This forum is conducted in support of HS4A, a global campaign on Human Security for All, initiated by The World Academy of Art & Science and the UN Trust Fund on Human Security.

15:00–15:30 CEST
Forum opening: Welcome into the Dream of the Earth
Pavel Luksha, Founder & Director, Global Education Futures
Alexander Laszlo, Director of Research, Laszlo Institute of New Paradigm Research
Marion Neumann, Cinematographer, Director, Screenwriter
15:30–16:30 CEST
Panel 1: Why dream for humanity and the planet?
Moderated by Pavel Luksha, Founder & Director, Global Education Futures

Participants:
Francois Taddei, Founder & President, Learning Planet Institute
Jack Bancroft, Founder & CEO, AIME and IMAGI-NATION
Kriton Arsenis, Senior campaigner and politician for Nature Restoration
Ana Lucia Castano Galvis, Co-founder, ARARE

This panel will explore the profound significance of human dreaming, a unique skill that defines our species. As our civilization moves deeper into the poly-crisis, we can collectively nurture this ability and harness it to envision dreams that carry us into more positive futures. The panel will unravel the art of discovering dreams that collectively guide us, and will explore how these dreams can be woven together, including apparently conflicting ones.

What is the role of dreaming & imagination for the human future? How do we nurture conversations between communities holding long-term visions of the future, including dreams that seem to conflict with each other (e.g. “singularity” vs “ecoutopia”)? How do we hold space for multiple & inclusive futures?
16:30–17:00 CEST
Keynote 1: Fostering Humanity’s Coming Upshift — A Sacred Mission

Ervin Laszlo, Founder & President, Club of Budapest and The Laszlo Institute of New Paradigm Research

Jude Currivan, Author, and Co-founder, WholeWorld-View
Humankind is a unique species that has spread across the whole surface of Earth and entered every living ecosystem, marking the age of Anthropocene. Being a “planetary species” implies planet-wide responsibilities, which are so far not reflected in our culture and ways of thinking. This panel explores the ascending to the planetary level of consciousness, unraveling the meanings and characteristics of this profound shift in human development. Through their dialogue, the panelists will try to discover what is required from each of us, explore the likelihood of this transition, and its significance in realizing collective human dreams.

What responsibilities do we hold as a planetary species, and what ethos do we cultivate?
18:00–18:30 CEST
Keynote 2: Envisioning an Ecological Civilization
Jeremy Lent, Author, and Founder & President, Liology Institute
18:30–19:30 CEST
Panel 3: Lucid questions for humanity

Igor Berkhin, Meditation Teacher, Dzogchen community
Lars Laegrid, Founder, Emergence
Dave Pendle, Founder, Generative You
“Lucid questions” are provocative challenges that can catalyse cultural evolution. Like Zen Buddihist “koans”, they are “questions without answer” that may require whole system change to be answered. One of the best examples of the “lucid questions” was asked in 1960s by Buckminster Fuller: “How can we make the world work for 100% of humanity In the shortest possible time through spontaneous cooperation without ecological offense or the disadvantage of anyone?” The panel will explore how can such questions be asked - and what can be the ultimate questions can guide the path towards a harmonious existence within and between humanity and nature.

How can we move dreaming to acting by asking the right questions? How do we discover such questions? What are the most important questions that can drive our collective journey in the 21st century and beyond?

19:30–20:15 CEST
Co-creative session: Evolutionary Development Goals
Interactive, facilitated by Pavel Luksha, Founder & Director, Global Education Futures & U4P team
In this interactive session we will invite the forum participants to explore and co-develop Evolutionary Development Goals (EDGs). The idea of EDGs is to create a tool that will encourage worldwide innovative transformation of economic & governance model that can work for 100% of humanity. This session will activate the work on the first version of Evolutionary Development Goals during Autumn 2023. Be part of the conversation, share your ideas, and explore approaches to guide this transformative project forward.

How can we create a “goal based” tool that can support the intentional human evolution? What are the principles and methods of creating and implementing this tool?

Feminine way of seeing the world is often as the way of break away from “masculine” patterns that may lie at the root of current poly-crisis. As Vandana Shiva aptly states, 'We are either going to have a future where women lead the way to make peace with the Earth or we are not going to have a human future at all”. This session will offer a thought-provoking discussion on integrating the feminine perspective and the way of thinking for societal transformation, especially in education and decision-making systems.

How can feminine perspective be amplified in our society? How can we find a “healthy balance” and integration between masculine and feminine on our collective futures, and how can that integration serve our evolutionary transition?
